- Begin by twisting the sterility cap one quarter turn and then removing it.
- Next, grip the lancing device firmly between your index finger, middle finger, and thumb. Press the device against the selected puncture site and use your thumb to fully depress the release button. Once done, move the lancing device away from the puncture site and dispose of it properly.
