The measurements taken with the Z1 are equivalent to those conducted by a trained observer utilizing the cuff/stethoscope auscultation method, adhering to the guidelines set by the American National Standard for Electronic or Automated Sphygmomanometers. The Real Fuzzy Technology utilized in this device determines the optimal cuff pressure by considering the individual's systolic blood pressure and arm size. Users are no longer required to preset the inflation level prior to measuring, as the technology automatically adjusts to prevent discomfort from overly high inflation levels and inaccurate readings due to incorrect cuff inflation levels. Additionally, the "Movement Detection" feature alerts users to maintain stillness and indicates any body movement during measurement with a specific icon appearing when movement is detected. The Cuff Detection function notifies users whether the cuff is correctly positioned on the arm. This blood pressure monitor meets the standards set by the European Society of Hypertension and also fulfills the accuracy requirements of the AAMI standard (AAMI/ANSI/ISO 81060-2).
