Place a clean probe cover on the sensor (wipe with alcohol after each use). Gently insert into the ear canal. For highest accuracy: rotate slowly for 3 seconds (Scanning Mode). For a quick reading: press once and hold for 1 second. Wait for the beep and read the value on the display. Dispose of / clean the probe cover and store the unit dry.
