For infants over 3 months: Lightly rub a small amount onto the upper chest and throat. Alternative method: Place a small amount on a tissue or handkerchief and tie it to the cot just out of reach to allow the vapours to be inhaled during the night. Note: Leave bed clothes loose to facilitate the emission of vapours.
