Preparation: Remove the mouthpiece cap. Shake the inhaler well. Prime the inhaler by releasing 2 test sprays into the air if it's being used for the first time or hasn't been used for more than 5 days. Inhalation: Stand or sit upright. Exhale fully away from the inhaler. Place the mouthpiece between your lips and close your lips around it. Inhale deeply and forcefully through your mouth while pressing down on the canister to release a dose. Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, then exhale slowly. After Use: Replace the mouthpiece cap. Rinse your mouth with water and spit it out to reduce the risk of oral thrush.
